The big problem is one of range.  Apparently, the cars are giving app.
60% of their projected range.

Nope.  All modern houses on the North American power grid have 220
delivered to the house, and the load is split evenly between each 110
volt leg.  All major appliances are operated from 220 v ie. water
heaters, cooking stoves, large air conditioners, shop tools, etc.

BTW, NA pwr grid does NOT include Mexico.  Lord only knows what their
standards are once you get away from the large centres.
