I do know there is "header tape", that will work with any headers.  I 
think it's impregnated with ceramic or some other silicate material 
that keeps the heat in the pipes and out of the engine compartment.  
It looks real good when applied carefully, but I don't know ho hard 
it is to keep clean, being basically cloth wrapped around the tubes.
