LBC equals:
Little British Car - MG's, Triumphs, Morgans, etc.
Large British Car - Jaguars, Daimlers, Armstrong-Siddleys, etc.
Lovable British Car - most of them, except for certain Jowetts, Landcrabs,
almost anything designed during the British Leyland regime, and the
Fairthorpe Electron Minor.
Lousy British Car - Anything with an electrical problem.
Large Beer Cup - what you need after working on them.
