Robert,
Don't go back to that mechanic!  Start working on the car yourself.
That's what I did after paying three different mechanics to get my car
running right when I got it.  I bought the Haynes manual and the SU Carb
manual and taught myself.  I did a better job than those mechanics did,
and it cost a fraction of the price.  It's an expensive lesson to learn,
but I learned it - My car only sees a mechanic for it's annual safety
inspection.

Listers,
I need a non-cracked dash for my Midget too, so if you come across any,
Robert and I will have to fight over it!
