A friend from work who had Austin Americas new had automatics... There were
made by AP products, were four speeds would you belive, and was advertised as
the cheapest Automatic car in the US. Get this... They are the ONLY
automatic to be the the sump of the engine. YES, thats right, they use the
same hot, dirty, engine oil the engine does. You have to change the oil and
filter ever 1500 miles or you will be screwed. Ofcourse few did. He said
they were so crappy the shift handles used to come out... he had five since
they were so cheap he burned 'em up and threw 'em away. Other than that,
they are dynamic little cars witht eh hydrolastic suspensions and stuff
