It means that those cylinders are not carrying their load.  Try a compression
check to make sure that hte cylinders are up to snuff.  My father-in-law had
two adjacent cylinders with the same symptoms.  I swore that it was a blown
head gasket, but the compression check showed they were up to snuff.  Spark
was great too.  Come to find out, the carb idle mixture was off.  Good Luck!
