Hi Folks,
I am rebuilding the differential from a banjo axle '67 MGB. The shop manual
calls for a special tool (basically a dial indicator and a gauge block) to
set the pinion (Special tool number 18G-191).... The dial indicator is no
problem, hosever, the gauge block is. If anyone has this tool set, could you
please measure the three (or four) lands on the guage block and let me know
their thicknesses? On the other hand, if anyone knows how to set up a rear
axle in the absence of this special tool, could you please let me know
how to do it??
