Trev,
Well, "Expensive" is a relative term. Sure, the cost-per-quart of
the stuff Moss and VB sell would be outrageous, but you're not
buying it by the quart. If, as it has been said on this list, the
little $8 bottle will fill four empty carbs, how much would you
really spend on dashpot oil over the life of your car? As for Moss
and VB milking the ignorant, it's not like they're the ones producing
the stuff. It has the SU brand name on it. Considering all the
people out there that will happily spend $6 for a factory oil filter,
or $4 for MG-crested lug nuts, $8 for a bottle of SU carb oil doesn't
seem too bad.
