Hello Bob...
I had a similar free-wheeling problem with my OD some years ago. The cure
was to remove the selenoid et al and replace the little rubber o-rings,
clean the filter and re-assemble. To this point - no more free-wheeling
(this is assuming you have the LH unit)
It certainly was startling to hurtle into a corner, and have no engine braking!
