The BBC is running a series of Dave Allen compilations. In one of his
routines he did impressions of car sounds by their names. Ferrari a long
howl, Rolls Royce very silent, you get the idea.
MG was: 'EEEEMMMMMMMMMMMMMM GGGGGGGGEEEEEEE' quite
loud like accelarating and changing gear.
Then he got to Triumph: 'Triumph umph umph umph upmh' (slowly dying out).
The audience must have been MG fans, because they loved it.
In a sketch in the same program an rusty MGBGT was forced into the grass
by Allen driving a mini.
