i have ......10 yrs. ago when i used to autox. the GLHS.......they just =
smiled ....and delivered me a pallet of 12 shaved 205/50-15 for $600......a=
set of fronts would last about 3 weeks....... was lookin' around the =
741/2 GT the other dayfor the first time in 11 yrs. and noticed some =
unusual things..the wood "trunk" cover in back was warped....thought that =
was unusual as i've had the wood on parts cars exposed to the weather and =
they faired better.on closer examination i noticed unlike the '69 and '70 =
Gt's....its PRESSBOARD...only could BL have scrimpted on wood....WOW,look =
at the savings!........the car is the only B i've ever bought (and there =
were many) that still has its overdrive,rubber starter cover and transmissi=
on support rod.the car was built 10/3-11/4 1974 for "personal export =
delivery"and shipped out dec. 19, 1974 ....this must 'B' one of the last =
GTs to come over....i asked Clausager once about the carpets...they were =
Autumn but the trans tunnel cover piece was black ..he had no record of =
carpet colors for ind. cars but it was noted that some times they ran out =
of the appropriate carpet ...and substituted.....oddly car is registerd as =
a 1973.......i noticed under the hood a decal and been superimposed over =
another decal.....for "the negative earth' decal.....BHH 1755 was over BHH =
1565...best i can tell they're identical decals except for the part #'s =
...can i buy a clue? =
as i recently =
put moth's balls in there there were no moths,mice..i mean rats, or cats =
to B found.......no Frank Zappa tapes or albums either.............. 'C' =
