Help! Anybody got any neat tricks for refitting a door window into the lower
channel? While I had the window out, I thought I'd replace the lower glazing
rubber
channel. Simple, I thought.
It's like trying to put 10 pounds of **** into a 5 pound bag. I can't seem to
get the rubber compressed enough. I get one end in, and the other end pops
off.
I've tried lubing the rubber, using soap and oil, but it doesn't help.
I just have visions of pounding on the channel with a mallet and ending up
with thousands of balls of glass...
