The biggest disadvantage to a bottle jack IMO is the very small contact
surface area (jack to car contact) - usually about 0.75 inch in diameter
while a sissors jack provides a much larger contact area maybe 2" x 4".
Sissors jacks also tend to have a much larger base - making them a little
more stable. Sissors jacks also typically collapse to a smaller height
making them easier to get under an axle that is attached to a flat tire.
You can usually get both at WalMart, K-Mart, etc as well as autoparts stores.
