I don't think there is such a thing as an original MG in excellent shape
(unless it's been wrapped in a baggie and stored in a deep freeze for the last
20 to 40 years). Go for a restored car, or you'll be looking at several years
of work before you can enjoy driving it. I learned this the hard way. IMHO
