My MGA is grounded onto a tab found in the left side battery area. Look on the
upper, horizontal frame member besides the left battery bracket. Hard to
describe and even harder to see from inside the car. You'd have to have to have
your head in the space the battery sits. Try looking from underneath. It could
have rusted away though...

Subject: MGA battery ground location
In the process of bringing an MGA back to life, I installed a new
battery (single 12V on the left hand side) and cannot find an obvious
spot for the proper connection to ground. Where is it supposed to be
located?
