This one's probably simple, but I'm hoping someone's confronted this and
maybe any answers will save me some time as well as others in the future.
My left rear tail light and license plate (left only) are out.
The bulb works on braking and passes visual inspection, so it's not a ground
(at the light) or the bulb.
Granted, the lack of BOTH left lights may not be related, but I'm thinking
it could be.
Oh, and my reverse lights are kaput too, but I figured that was the switch,
and I'm not in a hurry about that. The tail light, on the other hand, DOES
leave me open to Copus Stopus Maximus if I get caught in rain or dark.
Any hints, at least on where to start trouble shooting and sticking the
probes of my multimeter? I can't see a common thread between the plate lamps
and tail lamps by the wiring diagram, but maybe unrelated, like I said.
TIA
Dan
