brake booster

I would appreciate any help in finding a replacement brake booster for a
1978 MGB. I don't know if there is any real difference between the
boosters, 1977 & earlier, or whether only the master cylinder changed.

Also, if anyone has successfully rebuilt a booster, let me know how it
went. I have found a source of rebuild kits, but have heard a variety of
second hand opinions about the success/difficulty.
