Chris,
I'm 6'2" so my seat sits way back also.  The boxes on these speakers
measure 6"wide by 9" tall by 6" thick.  I'm not trying to sell
you speakers or anything, but you might be suprised at how little room
these little boxes take up.  Good luck,
