Let's check our horror-scopes, Tom! This must be an LBC week of sorts...

Monday I went to Austin to pick up a chrome war wheel for a spare for
Darlin'. I bought it from Christoph Widmer whom I met on this list last
year. (This was our first face-to-face meeting.)

He left today for Cambridge, England. Transferred with a major US
corporation he worked for in Austin to be closer to home -- Switzerland.

The treat that he had in store for me...! A newly restored 1960 Daimler
Dart. I thought I was gonna die on the spot! GORGEOUS car. I'd never seen
one before, and I fell into immediate and total lust! I want that car!
Fiberglass body and V-8 . It was parked next to the 196? XKE Jaguar that
was going to be repainted then shipped over to Cambridge. Wow....

Oh, and the Land Rover was already over there waiting for him! What a way
to go!
