On that note, is there a way of identifying the head while it's installed?
My engine plate is still there, and matches, at least year-wise, my '73 B
according to Clausager. Although the "101" is not there on the engine plate.
My engine # reads precisely - "18V672Z-L13807", but Original MGB lists these
weird numbers as "(prefix)18V_672-Z-L (eng #) 101-38094".
How do I ID the head? Or will I have to remove it first?
TIA
Dan
