Hold the phone, Tyson!
Recoring is almost as expensive as a new one, and probably not worth it.
Pull that radiator and take it to the local radiator shop. If it's leaking,
it may not need a core, but just a refurbishment i.e. soldering/welding of a
seam somewhere.
Without looking at the radiator and seeing where it's blown, it's hard to
tell.
It's cheap enough to pull it and take it to the shop to find out -- just
make sure you pull it and take it in without the car, some guys go
"cha-ching!" when they see an MG, I don't know why. If you've removed it
yourself, they know they're dealing with someone who can turn a wrench and
they can't BS you. My Mitsu pickup blew up on me and $50 later it was good
as new...a LOT cheaper than a new one!
