Well, I spent a miserable 2 hours removing the water pump from my 1987
Dodge Ramcharger... a worse job I can't imagine. Tomorrow I get to put
the new one back in. Oh joy and rapture!

So, I decided that for the evening to be worthwhile I should do some
work on my 'B which is in the process of restoration. I then spent two
more miserable hours trying to remove the leaf springs (driver's side
broken in two places, passenger in one)... got all the nuts off finally
(on driver's side!) and got the rear end of the leaf out, but the bolt
in the front won't come out (it's been soaking in "Break Away" for two
days). It turns (somewhat freely), but no matter what I try (twisting,
pounding, prying, etc.) I can't get that bolt out. Anyone have any
suggestions?

At this point I'm ready to take a hacksaw to the blasted bolt tomorrow
unless someone has a better idea to save me the trouble.

On another note, not only are the springs shot, but so are the shocks. I
pulled one down and it stayed there. It's no wonder it was riding rough
the last time I drove it. I saw plans to use a set of Monroe shocks
from a Dodge Colt to do a conversion on a GT... will this also work for
a roadster? My guess would be that it would, but I thought I'd check
before throwing out $$$.
