I thought it was a great report -- gave me shivers about how much work I've
done on other similar projects for a grade and didn't have nearly as much
fun researching! Although I am a bit curious about the little comment about
the authors' "biases" as to why they personally wouldn't have one.
There will always be that type around, Pat, but statistically these people
are very few -- those types tend to buy Air-cooled VWs and chop them for
bajas, or just stay with the older riceburner Zcars, celicas, etc. which are
a dime/dozen in the boneyards.
Your comment made me think, for some reason, of the Ferrari community and
what they must be saying now that one can find an older 328GTS (Magnum PI
car) for a few $K more than a brand new Miata!
