Don,
If you have a 1967 GM alternator it needs an external regulator. The 72-82
has an internal regulator. I wired up a similar alt in my '72 240Z using
the 240Z external regulator. It worked great. I got the wiring schematic
from a 1974 Chiltons manual. If you need any help let me know.
