Until recently I was having the same problem; I put a post on the
ne.housing newsgroup saying that I was looking to rent a cheap garage
space. Somebody called me the next day and a few days later I had the keys
for $60/month, which is actually quite reasonable for my area of the
country. Is there a similar newsgroup for your area? Or how about just a
big handbill posted at local supermarkets, etc. that says "RENT ME A SPOT
IN YOUR BARN!" You might be surprised at how willing people are to do
business with you, even if they don't advertise to be in business. Good
