Bill,
    As to your note on dragging brake calipers....
     All of the disk pads drag a little bit..that is one reason they are
efficient..they self clean the rotor..Too much drag is another problem..If the
wheel can't be turned freely by hand with the wheel off of the ground there is
a problem..
1) dirt in the system 2) a mix of incompatable fluids causing
gelling..3)partially seized pistons caused by wear or (1). 4) over thick pads
or rotors..5)a malfunction in the master cylinder..just a few items to mull
over..:-)
