Hi Richard,

  The problem is most probably the accelerator pump in the carb.  To
check it,: with the engine shut off, look down into the carb and open
the throttle rapidly.  If you don't see some gas squirted into the bores
as you open the throttle, the accelerator pump hasn't worked.
