Some of you guys are kind of p#&^ing me of here. I may have missed the point
of this thread and please correct me if I'm wrong....but.....

>From 1974 to 1986 I had an MGB of one type or another as a daily driver,
year `round, in Vancouver ; sun, rain, ice, slush,or snow. From 1980 to
1986 my wife also had an MGB as a daily driver. We sold our `76 B
convertible because we needed room for our two daughters. I was on-and-off
driving the `66 GT till a few years ago when I bought another MG. Now, my
current MG is NOT a trailer queen! (ask Barney) She runs like a top but
there are prettier examples around. I drive this car where ever and when
ever I can. This past summer I was scheduled, with hotel reservations and
deposits made, to drive round trip from Vancouver to Monterey, 2000+miles.
To my everlasting frustration work obligations prevented me from doing
so....this time. Last year I drove 600+ miles to join up with the Brit Run
to the Sun for two days, and the year before that I drove 1700+ miles to GoF
West `96 in the Columbia gorge. But , apparently, I'm a bit of a poofter
because I don't want to take a 52 year old, hand tooled, ash framed, piece
of history out in the snow and race SUV's. Gimme a break...

I know some level headed individual pointed out that it's really a case of
"each to his own" but hey, this is a list for ALL MG owners not just B's.

(Flame suit ON and Bass Export gone. )
