A couple of months ago I flat-towed my '77B from central Vermont to Plymouth,
Mass., about 180 miles. I simply removed the front bumper from the B and
attached my towbar brackets using the holes that the bumper normally mounts to.
For added stiffness I used two of the steel bumper shims on each side. Towed
fine with no problems at all.
