Hi

It's my hollyday project to remove all the dirt and protection materials
from the underside of the care and put a new layer on.

I want to remove the wire bundle that goes from the front to the rear of
the car.
One of these is the fuel 'wire'.

Is it OK to:
* remove the wires from the fuel pump
* remove the battery plus

And then remove the tube for the fuel?

Wil it not slowly drain?
I don't want 45 liters of fuel on my garagefloor!?

Thanks, Rene

BTW the underside isn't to bad: much of the materials are still the
originals thanks to the (hardened) protection layer. There are some
rustspots and small holes, though.
