Kevin:

I know I can always depend on this list and its members for great advice. I
followed through as you directed. With the heat applied, the nuts came off very
easily, however, the only trouble I ran into was the mis-coloured and peeling
chrome! Unfortunately I deleted your reply. Did I perhaps miss some important
little tidbit towards the end of your message? How did you manage to polish out
the discoloration and re-attach the peeled chrome? The valance was quite a
different matter. I had alot of trouble breaking it free. Why did that have to
come off in the first place? Perhaps a question I should have asked before I
demolished the rear end! Appreciate a reply ASAP, as my SO Theresa, is really
PO'ed thinking of course, that I have done something terribly wrong (go figure).

Just kidding! Was that cod tongue and cheeks? Applied a little "Break Away"
the night before and all went smoothly the next day. One side had an additional
rubber washer that wasn't apparent in the catalogs. I called Moss "tech" and
was assured that it was likely a DPO addition. Thanks to all for their advice
on this.
