The Vancouver Pre `56 MG Unclub is pleased to be hosting the 1999 edition of
GoF West at Whistler BC August 2 - 6. This annual event, the Gathering of
the Faithful, is a chance for MG owners to meet and enjoy a few days of
friendship and fun. Though the GoF is primarily a "pre `56" MG function,
MG's of all stripes are welcome. The events include noggin n' natter, a
participants choice car show, a rally, banquet, theme events and more T
types than you can shake a dipstick at. This years event will have a
decidedly Scottish theme so bring your kilt.

Our host hotel, the Chateau Whistler, is the flagship hotel of the premier
resort in North America. Situated at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, this
'resort within a resort' has its own golf course, tennis courts, and full
health club and spa and is just steps away from Whistler Village. The
Village is a year-round resort complex located at the base of North
America's two largest ski mountains, Blackcomb and Whistler. From Vancouver
it's a 75 mile drive that takes you from scenic panoramas of island studed
Howe Sound to the very foot of the majestic Coast Mountain Range. The route
you'll follow into the mountains is the one for an annual All-British run,
an easy one for any MG.
