Mike - I assume you are talking about the left side front marker light.  I
just reinstalled mine (I painted the car).  There was no ground wire
there.  I installed the licence plate ground yesterday and took the area
down to bare metal then used dielectric grease to keep it rust free.

My flashers are not working at the moment but I have only reinstalled the
rear lights and have yet to reinstall the front bumper which houses the
front signal lights. (1980 LE).  I assume the lack of a full load is
preventing the flashers from working.
