Rough idle, periodic stalling

I am new to the MGB. I have a 1977b that has stalling problem. I have had it 
tuned, inspected, but it still stalls, especially when cold ... and it rough 
idles when it is cold. After it warms it runs well. The car also seems to run 
rough at night when the lights are on. There is no emissions (per Twist 
instructions) and a weber. 
Any suggestions from the learned list to clear this problem?
