Be careful when you remove the engine that you don't damage the engine
mounts, that is unless you plane on replacing them which is not a bad
idea. With the later model cars like yours you need to remove the steering
to replace the left mount. If however you do it with the engine out then
with a little effort you can left one. The following applies whether or
not you plan on replacing them. Remove the right mount on the car itself
and leave it attached to the engine. The left one remove the mount from
the engine but leave the mount attached to the car. When reinstalling the
engine attach the right mount to the engine, and with left mount slightly
loose (for adjustment later) lower the engine in. When putting a new left
mount on with the engine out, hold the nut from underneath and turn the
mount onto the nut. Don't try to hold the nut and plate together because
the two combined won't be able to be passed between the steering shaft and
the bracket. It may sound confusing but you will understand what I mean
when you examine the left side.
