Also, all out of state vehicles are required to undergo a state
inspection
test (not new cars) to make sure they're not stolen or have no stolen
parts on them. A friend of mine registered his Sebring MX kit car and
went thru the test- to find out his transmission turned out to be stolen
some 15 years before. . .
