Moss Motors and Abingdon Spares sometimes have the spring-loaded center
electrode. Try them first, or whatever vendor you normally do business
with for Lucas parts.
Just pull the old one out and push the new one in. If the old spring
doesn't come out with the carbon electrode, make a hook out of a piece of
stiff wire to snag it and pull it out.
