I just bought a wire mesh cutout to put under my air intake grill and I was
wondering if anyone has some good suggestions on how to put the retaining clips
back on. The dilemma, if you haven't done it, is how to get the clips in - if
the mesh is not present you just slip you fingers through the top of the grill
and press them onto the posts. With the mesh in the way this is impossible.
I talked to a guy who had it on his air intake grill, but he said that the mesh
worked like a retention clip on his and he did not use the clips. Mine, however
is lose when everything is in place.
