Scott-
The info I have ID's a 18G with no letter following (e.g. 18GA, 18GB) are
from model years 7/62-Spring 64.
"WE" denotes fully synchronized 4-speed
"H" denotes high compression
Hope this helps.

Hi all -

My name is Scott. I've been lurking on the list for some time. I'm in the
process of restoring a 72 MGB. I was hoping someone could shed some light on
a motor my brother just picked up. We're fairly sure its an early B motor.
The engine number is 18G-WE-H-43400. Thanks in advance for any help.

Scott
