I also have the hard starting problem that Tab is experiencing. I have
narrowed it down to the choke, but even my usually competent professional
mechanic is stumped. I have installed a brand new choke Z-S fuel enrichment
unit, but it did not help. What is the "twist" that Barney mentioned? What
is being twisted? In what direction? and how far? Barney also mentions a
choke plate. I didn't think that the fuel enrichment unit had a plate as on
conventional chokes.
