Okay,
Now that we have determined that the problem is probably a vented cap
installed on a
non-vented engine, here is a question for the original poster.
Does she have the stock valve cover with the vent tube in the back which
should connect to
the emissions control system?
If not, will replacing the vented cap with a non-vented type damage the
engine? Anyone?
Maybe her stock valve cover has been replaced with an after market
non-vented valve cover
and the vented cap was installed to compensate for the non-vented cover???
How much "smoke' is coming out of the cap?
