Restoration

All you Vets,
  What's the average time to do a body off full restoration by an
individual(not a shop), including the downtime for lack of money,
interest or laziness.  I think my B took about three years but it wasn't
done right(I was young and less knowledgeable) and I suspect the A will
take four years(done right).
Really curious.
