Being "Latitute Challenged" I was never really expecting to write this
letter, however it finally happened. We had terrific weather today.
nearly 55 degrees outside. We often have nice weather over Christmas,
but seldom this nice and there is usually a blanket of snow or ice. Not
today, however.
I went to the garage, and rolled out the '60 MGA
<http://www.cadvision.com/macleodm/mgajovern.GIF> pulled the battery
off the trickle charger and slipped it into the carrier. I checked all
the fluids and the tires and then the anticipation started to get the
better of me and I choked it and pulled the starter.
The snarl from the tailpipe was wonderful. What a sound. I
immediately checked for leaks, funny noises, smells, ....anything that
could leave me stranded. Everything was as it should be. ...So..... my
wife and I went for a drive.
We drove for over an hour down a number of lovely country roads
in the Water Valley area and garnered waves, shouts, and generally a lot
of finger pointing. Folks were pulling over to take pictures of us as
we drove by. There must have been an unduly large amount of Christmas
Cheer in air. :-)
        Life is good!!

Merry Christmas to All, and to all a Good Night
