Hello folks...... Thanks for all the good advice. I have bought the new
oil pump and got some gasket goo from BMC instead of the silicone. It is
"Unipart Universal Jointing Compound" and is for professionals only.
Does that mean us DIY's can't use it?? It is from the UK and is the
cats meow for insuring no oil leaks. My confidence is growing about the
dry garage floor.
I was at our MG club (British Sports Car Club in Burlington, Ont.
Canada) meeting on Tuesday and they mentioned a Cleveland 2000 MG
gathering in June. It sounds like a good time to see the Rock and Roll
hall of fame. Does anyone have any details on the event?
