I personally am partial to the various GT Veloce models from the '60s and 
early '70s; 1500, 1600, 1750, and 2000, I believe (not the later GTV6). 
IMO the best looking "notchback" GT design ever. There are specialist 
shops and mail order companies suppporting them in much the same manner 
as LBCs, though perhaps not quite as comprehensively (no personal 
experience, just glanced at the literature). They have a lot of club 
support as well, the "Alfisti" in general being pretty enthusiastic. I 
would suggest finding a club event in your area (the web is your friend!) 
and seeing what the faithful have to say, and bum a ride or a drive or 
two. BTW the same goes for the MGs and Triumphs... "ask the man who owns 
one"...
