Hello Dennis.  First of all I would stay with steel wheel.  Less money and 
less maintenance.  Yes, you have change the complete rear end. Wire Wheel 
rear end up to 67 MGB will fit.  A MGB rear is a good up grade.  Better 
brakes and cheaper brake parts.  Also I have been told a MGB front suspension 
will fit an MGA.  Another good up grade.  Both of these up grade are safety 
issue also.  A good use WW rear end cost around $150 and more. I just 
converted a 73 B-GT WW to Steel wheels.  No one sell a good used wire wheel 
for daily driver.  Yes, spare tires.  The only good wire wheel is a new one.
