You might do as I did.  Get a wife with small, flexible, strong fingers,
who doesn't have claustrophobia and doesn't mind lying on her back,
trying to see up in the dark, with crud falling in her eyes, while
listening to your words of encouragement telling her what she ought to
feel and what she ought to do when she feels it.  Seriously, that's how
I got mine out.  It doesn't take a special tool.
