Couple of years ago I saw the Mike Love version of the band in Beijing
playing to a small crowd celebrating Northwest Airlines' new route. The band
was great, and it was led, so I was told by a tall guitar player said to be
Al Jardin's son but who looked *exactly* like a young Brian Wilson. Great
show, but the Chinese audience didn't know what to make of us old f**ts
stomping around in front, trying to remember how to dance.
