Actually, this gives me a better idea of what to do with the '57.
Big huge V8 mounted through the firewall. Take out the backseat and move
the front seats way back. This would solve the "narrow engine bay"
problem and I wouldn't have to put new front floor panels in. How wide is
a flathead Ford?
