Carl,
  In what hotel are you lodging?  If it's in Waterford, then 20 minutes
maximum to the show.  CT is much smaller than ME, but the maps distort
distance.  My AAA map shows CT spread across a full page and ME across
two, but it distorts the scale.   One tends to forget that the distance
from Portland to Presque Isle is the same as the distance from Portland
to New York City.
